Zeus on the Loose was my very first book, published in 2004.

It was shortlisted for the Branford Boase Award, which was very lovely and nice. Zeus to the Rescue followed in 2007, and Zeus Sorts It Out in 2011.

Lovely things people have said about the Zeus books:

"There's nothing loose about Zeus. It's surprising how every chapter is  tightly packed with incident and ingenious turns of plot. I really enjoyed the pace of the book, the humour, and, importantly, the idea." Nicholas Allan, award-winning author & illustratorhttp://www.nicholasallan.co.uk/shapeimage_10_link_0
“The fun style will appeal to most readers whatever their age. ”  Stroud News & Journal
“This book... just begs to be read. There is so much to keep young readers entertained ” Armadillo magazinehttp://www.armadillomagazine.com/shapeimage_12_link_0

What would you do if a real, live Greek God turned up in your life, borrowed your mum’s nightie and began demanding sacrifices and starting wars?

And what if he came back?

“Whether you're a Greek god or a mere mortal, you should read these wonderful books. They're hilarious!” Andy Stanton, author of the mad, bad, and dangerously funny Mr Gum!

“Instantly involving, constantly hilarious... Zeus is a superb character.” Andy Stanton in Junior Education magazine

[Andy picked Zeus to the Rescue as his Reviewers Choice in this issue]
