I've always enjoyed messing around with words. That's probably why I like writing poetry. Funny poetry mostly, but not always.
Dinosaurs & Dinner-Ladies, my first poetry collection, is published by Otter-Barry Books - as is my second collection, Zooming the Zoo. Both are illustrated by Tom Morgan-Jones. You can find some of my poems in anthologies edited by other poets, too, including:

In 2015 I was invited to help judge the Divine Chocolate Poetry Competition. It was great fun - and they gave me chocolate!!!!
I really like Divine - not only is it utterly yumsworthy; the people who farm the cocoa also own part of the company, so they get paid fairly.
Below are videos of me reading the winning entries.
